The Mosaics sub-series focuses on the high visual density and saturated color rhythm of architectural memory. In these works, the urban landscape is transformed into an intense, decorative grid where rigid structures - rooftops, coastal villages, and fortress walls - are held together by heavy, multi-layered textures.
This series explores the concept of memory as a vibrant, tactile archive. By emphasizing rich color contrasts (such as vivid reds against emerald and deep ultramarine backgrounds) and sharp palette knife definitions, the artworks shift from dramatic monochrome towards an expressive, structural harmony. Mosaics presents a more structured, resilient view of spaces that survive the erosion of time, operating as solid visual markers of distant, cherished places designed to anchor the viewer's attention.
Where the Stone Dissolves
The painting explores the thin line between solid architecture and the shifting water elements. Through a dramatic contrast of deep blue skies, expressive greenery, and white stone houses literally melting into the abyss, this artwork visualizes the transience of time and the transformation of spaces into pure fragments of memory.

I examine the architectural deconstruction of memory, assembling the cityscape like fragments of ancient smalta. The composition captures a solid, fortressed group of houses and a tower that act as an emotional anchor against heavy vertical drops, simulating the washing away of time. By fusing dense palette knife strokes of multilayered acrylic with final, sharp lines of oil pastel, I define a strict tension between the permanent structure of human presence and a fluid, continuously dissolving environment.

The Opposite Shore
The work explores urban space as a fragment of personal perception. A street leading towards the sea, architecture, and the distant shore come together as a kind of mosaic of memory - a space in which near and far constantly shift their boundaries.
The Opposite Shore is not so much about a specific place as it is about the experience of distance: between a person and a space, between what remains behind and what lies beyond.

I explore the emotional space of finding a sudden, unexpected refuge before the storm sets in. Using a palette knife to build thick, structural layers for the roofs and walls, I then dissolve the composition with heavy vertical drips that mimic a downpour, washing away the rigid lines of the coastal town. The painting captures a dramatic twilight threshold where human structures meet the overwhelming power of the elements. The turbulent sea and the intense, glowing pink sky above the emerald slopes reflect a silent, fragile moment of arrival - search for peace and safety within a world that continuously changes.

I explore the idea of absolute safety within human memory. This coastal town, locked inside a deep sea bay between monumental cliffs, acts as a closed, unreachable archive. There are no redundant details here - only the strict geometry of the dark canyon, still water, and houses firmly gripping the stone. Working with a new, multi-layered structural technique, the painting captures a sense of stability and silence: it is a solid, enduring refuge that time cannot erode or wash away from our memory.
